About recognition
In Norway we differentiate between recognition of foreign education taken at universities and university colleges, and foreign education taken at a vocational school or as upper secondary education and training. There are also a number of regulated professions which require recognition in the form of authorisation.
The type of recognition you need will also depend on what you intend to use your education or professional /vocational experience for. This is what will determine which recognition authority you should send your application to. Read more about the different recognition authorities.
